Faith took full advantage of the last Friday before her return to school. It was only yesterday that many long-awaited questions finally met honest answers. However, after seeing clues even her mother hadn’t seen, some questions remained unanswered. How does Faith make known all that had happened to her? Does she tell her mother about something that even she doesn’t fully understand? Faith doesn’t have the slightest idea herself about the strange phenomenon occurring in her life. Nor does Faith know who possibly could shed light on the hidden answers.

Faith decided now to concentrate on the things for which she could easily find answers. Inside a modest bedroom, Faith sat atop her bed with her back against an old fashion headboard. Resting in her hands was an Apple iPad Air, which was a sweet sixteen birthday gift.

This was the only bedroom Faith had ever truly known. The room had gone through many transformations over the years. In the beginning the walls were pink and the linens were very girly, colorful and flowery. The next changeover brought posters of Faith’s favorite animated movies, they blanketed the walls. Another shift came to the bedroom when her attention grew from animated characters to real-life boys. The light pink walls, painted over and a heavy blue went up. The cartoon posters gave way to cool boy bands and hot young actors. The state of the room today reflects the young woman she hopes to become. Gone are the posters of attractive boys and young men, which were hung with Scotch tape at the corners. Her room now, decorated with framed pictures nailed into the drywall. Within the square and rectangular outlines were famous buildings and structures. The Chrysler Building, the Taj Mahal, Westminster Abbey, the Eiffel Tower, the Pantheon and The Great Wall of China, all places Faith hoped to visit someday. Young adulthood brought a change to the color of the walls too. The room had a soft neutral beige tint, so that the black and white prints stood out in their dark frames.

Faith powered up her iPad Air. Using Google, she searched her paternal family tree. In a few seconds the search engine displayed thousands of possible sites about the famous Wentworth descendants. Instead of going from site to site, she chose just one, Wikipedia. Once there, Faith went looking through her family tree, which stretched back hundreds of years. Instead of starting at the very beginning she began at the point of her great-grandmother’s birth. Faith’s mother mentioned that her father went overseas to see his grandmother. The Wikipedia page stated that her great-grandmother was born in Russia under the name of Anastasia Pavlovic.

Before continuing, Faith took special note of the picture on the Wikipedia page. The photo made Faith curious about what her great-grandmother looked like today. Her first thought was one of vanity when she saw the picture. The date under the picture was recent, but the image Faith eyed was of a woman at best in her late twenties or early thirties.
